Stamping Tier Card Technique

I have been seeing cards like the one I made alot lately.  At first I said to myself that would be too hard to make but after researching the was the easiest card!!!!
I started with primrose petals cardstock (5 1/2 x 8 1/2) folded in half.  I layered 3 pieces of whisper white on top each make it secure I used glue dots.  I used the delicate doilies stamp set to create the background.  I love the new in I used summer starfruit, primrose petals and raspberry ripple. Take apart the layers and layer the white pieces with primrose petals cardstock.  I stamped the butterfly in gumball green.  I love this new stamp set....papillon potpourri.  The butterflies have such rich texture and would look amazing embossed.  I punched out the butterfly with the new butterfly punch.
Here is another card using the same technique....the stamp set is betsy's blossoms.  I used the new in colors again....gumball green, primrose petals, midnight muse and summer starfruit. I love the new 3/8" stitched satin ribbon. Here I used raspberry ripple.

Wedding Favors For UStamp with Dawn and Friends

I had alot of fun designing for this round with UStamp with Dawn and Friends.  I love the new in colors....on this project I used primrose petals. I am getting remarried in November and I thought it would be fun to create some wedding favors.  These favors are very easy to make.

The new flower framelits are so fun and easy to use.  The bag was made with the fancy favor bigz die. To give it a little more depth, I stamped on the bag before putting it together.
The box can fit mints or hershey kisses in them.  I made a belly band to add that extra special touch.  You can go to the UStamp website and see my project with instructions as well as 40 other projects all from the new SU! catalog.

Have your cake and eat it too!!!

It's hard to believe that June is ending.....summer is in full swing and so is Stampin' UP!  The new catalog is coming out July 1st but if you are like me you want everything right now!!!
Did you know right now you could have some of the new products in your hot little hands and then some?
When I decided to become a demonstrator, I wanted the products I love at a discount.  I paid close to $200 to join but it was worth it.  I was buying products here and there and I also went to craft stores and was overwhelmed at the prices of just one stamp or paper.  I have been a demonstrator for over 5 years now and have been pleased with what the company has to offer.
Most of you will say that I don't want to hold parties or workshops to make my don't have to!!!!!  The beauty of becoming a demonstrator is fulfilling your passion, or at least mine, to create cards and projects for others.   I call it my "creative therapy".
Take for example.....I have two children 14 and 11 and they are extremely busy.  My daughter is gone for 5 weeks to Camp Greystone (an awesome camp for girls in Tuxedo, NC) and my son plays travel baseball and is going to camp for two weeks in July (Camp Rockmont).  I will say that being a single mom has its ups and downs.  Right now, not having my children is a downer.  When I go up to my craft room and start creating, I am in my comfort zone and busy.  I will be using this time to work on my wedding invitations and party favors.  The wedding isn't until November but this is a perfect opportunity to get this done.

During the month of June, new demonstrators not only get to choose the products for their fully customizable starter kit, they will also get products from the brand new Patio Party Suite FREE.  What I love about the new starter kit is that you get to choose whatever you want from the catalog for only $99.   WHAT!!!!!  That's awesome!!! Stampin' UP! has heard from their demonstrators and get to pick what caters to your needs.  You can go onto my Stampin' UP! website for all the details!!!

I know I have rambled on but if you have a passion for crafting like I do, this is an opportunity that you don't want to pass up!!!!

I'm off to create for UStamp with Dawn and on the icon on the right hand side of my blog to find out more about this round of UStamp with Dawn....we have a little delay on the start of this round so you haven't missed anything.

Happy Stamping,

The New Catalog is Unveiled TODAY!!!!

"Oh Happy Daaay......"this song keeps playing in my head!!!!  This is probably the most exciting day as a demonstrator.....being able to share the new catalog!!!!  I'm so excited to go place my order.  I have already received my preorder products and was sooooo excited to see the new version of the stamp pads.  I was a little nervous about how they would be but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them out.
There is now a label that you can attach to the front, as you can see it is underneath the stamp pad and written in 4 languages.  The last picture, bottom right, shows the pad but it doesn't do it justice. You can go to see the video HERE to see an explanation of the changes in the ink pads.
You can check out the catalog by clicking on the widget on the right or go to my Stampin' UP! website.
If you would like one for your very own I would love to send one to you....please leave me a comment with your information or email
