It's hard to believe that June is ending.....summer is in full swing and so is Stampin' UP! The new catalog is coming out July 1st but if you are like me you want everything right now!!!

When I decided to become a demonstrator, I wanted the products I love at a discount. I paid close to $200 to join but it was worth it. I was buying products here and there and I also went to craft stores and was overwhelmed at the prices of just one stamp or paper. I have been a demonstrator for over 5 years now and have been pleased with what the company has to offer.
Most of you will say that I don't want to hold parties or workshops to make my minimum....you don't have to!!!!! The beauty of becoming a demonstrator is fulfilling your passion, or at least mine, to create cards and projects for others. I call it my "creative therapy".
Take for example.....I have two children 14 and 11 and they are extremely busy. My daughter is gone for 5 weeks to Camp Greystone (an awesome camp for girls in Tuxedo, NC) and my son plays travel baseball and is going to camp for two weeks in July (Camp Rockmont). I will say that being a single mom has its ups and downs. Right now, not having my children is a downer. When I go up to my craft room and start creating, I am in my comfort zone and busy. I will be using this time to work on my wedding invitations and party favors. The wedding isn't until November but this is a perfect opportunity to get this done.

Hey Beth! I apologize for not responding MUCH SOONER to your thoughtful comment! I was elated to say the least to have a comment from someone that I didn't even know. I've been to your blog and what a wonderful blog it is! I'll have to sign up as a follower. I'm hoping to get myself into gear here on my end with my blog. I've just been putting it off for various reasons and then for no reason! LOL! Each and every morning, my #1 stop is at Mary's Website. I always look forward to a her daily post with my coffee in hand. :) There are a few other people I love to follow as well and several challenges. Speaking of a challenge, I have a 1st Year Anniversary card to make this morning for our one and only daughter's wedding anniversary.
